Seems like a ATi display driver problem at first glance, have you tried downgrading/upgrading, changing resolutions and all kinds of things to see if any of it works?

Re: King Arthur: Fallen Champions game crashing
Maybe, it is difficult to tell. But the faulting module is ATi, so it is quite plausible it CTDs because of something connected to how and when the driver wants to display something to your screen. Problem today, or it has been for quite a few years now really, is there are so incredibly many variations in system setups. This and that hardware together may cause a problem with those drivers at different given situation. And at any other time it works great. When programs are made, be it games or otherwise, they tend to make them compatible with what seems to be a "normal" setup at the time. Usually it is tested on a few other setups, but it is not remotely possible to test them on all kinds. And during the development period, usually 3-5 years on average, new hardware/drivers emerge and systems change. So when the software is released it works with most, but not all, setups. Now, how does anyone know if their particular setup is compatible with a program or not? Answer is, no one does and there is really no guarantee that buying a piece of software will make it work on ones rig. Even it seems likely. Some people have problems with high-end Nvidia cards and KA, others with the same cards and seemingly similar setups have not. How to do for both customer and company? Almost impossible, but they try to find a way in patches and we try to search ourselves here on the boards. So, in essence, read the boards and see if there are any similar issues and what others have done before. Wait and see if anyone can help. Wait for a patch to come out, and see if that fixes it. Perhaps next time you upgrade your machine, or change some hardware it will magically work (this has happened to me on several occasions with games). Upgrade/downgrade drivers, change resolutions, install on a different machine, borrow your friend’s GFX-card and see if it works with that and so on.

Hey another option may be to just disable Crossfire if you are using an ATI card. Just another thing to try. Worked for me so hopefully it will work for you guys.

I am also getting a crash. Start of first battle in normal campaign, every time. Haven't even been able to see what the battle map looks like yet. Tried the CFF explorer fix, but that seems to have had no effect. Just updated to ATI catalyst 11.1 drivers and after that I have solved mine issue and so I would like to suggest this and after that let me know the issue.
