Long ago, Sonic Boom took refuge on top of a peak in a remote area of Skyland, hoping her eggs Griffin safe. Despite his precautions, found a wizard corrupted and cast a spell on the eggs. Upon hatching, the young griffins can live only a few moments before returning to their shell and blossom again in a continuous cycle. Seeking to prevent evil to fall on others, joined the Sonic Boom Skylanders and led her young to defend Skyland every time they hatch.

It'd be miserable, except I distrust death would be made in Skylanders, I believe they would like it to be all light as well as happy.
